Hey hey hey! Raya is finally here! Well, four days ago at least XP I just got back from Batu Pahat (BP) about 9-10 hours ago! I had an AWESOME Raya with my cousins! I haven't seen them in AGES!! I even met relatives I don't remember meeting at all! XD I guess that shows how long I haven't seen them.
Like I've said in my previous post, its my 1st Raya SOMEWHERE than at home! All my life I've celebrated Raya at home & nowhere else. I guess since my aunt's departure, I finally got the chance to go somewhere for Raya.
My grandparents didn't really join me in the celebration & the family reunion. I have TOO many relatives I gotta tell ya. Many of them remembered me since I was like, 4-5 years old!
That was heck of a long time ago! Only a few managed to recognise me. Owh well. Better than nothing. Earned LOADS of duit Raya (duh... Raya = $$$) . Owh! How was everyone else's Raya? You guys/gals had an awesome time? Comment this post & I'll get right back atcha~ ;)
Well, I said I'd take loads of pictures. I did but deleted the useless & ugly ones XD But the ones I kept are memorable enough :) OMG! I miss my darling twin already!
Waa~! Yaya! *sniffles*
Anyways, it was a long ride to Batu Pahat from Subang. I thought it was but it took only 4 hours. I guess reading a book, listening to music & sleeping made it look like time was passing by slowly. Only at the time though.
On the way while I was listening to music alphabetically (don't ask me why... I just suddenly decided to do that for once) , I saw lands that had coconut trees burnt or cut down to the ground. The trees were even brown so, the trees are dead :'( I don't like seeing that kind of thing at all. Seriously.
I can be a nature person at times. Even though I'm a bad girl for littering & stuff but still, I love Mother Nature.
I enjoy every beautiful & magical scenery she gives out. Sunsets, sunrises, the night sky filled with billions of stars (you have to know where& how to look to see them) , etc. etc. Sometimes, I even sit outside of my house just to enjoy it. Really.
I'll shut up about that now XP I reached at Katerina Hotel & met up with my twin plus her family there. Buka puasa, she slept over, we gossiped/talked until 1.30 am XD Then we got up, got dressed, went down to have a kind-of-light breakfast & I went to celebrate Raya wherever she & her family went.
Ooh~! Guess what? I brought my Chronicles of Amber along & now I have less than 170 pages left to go! WOOHOO!! FINALLY!! I can continue with either one of my 9 unread books! *dances*
~hee How exciting! Maybe I'll celebrate tomorrow =D
I can't remember much of the 2nd day but I think we went to BP Mall twice. Once in the afternoon to buy stuff while the boys played at the arcade while the other late at night with a few cousins/relatives. We watched Momok! XD It was pretty scary though =/ I didn't like it.
I thought it'd be funny but it wasn't XP Well, some parts were funny at least. Most of it were just freaky & scared the hell out of me O_______O
Shit. I just reminded myself of the movie. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna get nightmares! X(
Whatever! Continuation! I met one of my cousins I haven't seen since last year's Raya! Iejah! XD Man, I love her. Gowri, Lils, May, don't terasa. I love y'all too ;) 3rd day, didn't do anything during the day. All we did was hang around, ate, watch TV, slept & then at night, Raya some more! =D Got karaoke weih!
It was awesome! Although one of the relatives kept singing until it annoyed everyone, Yaya's mom had to come up to me & asked me to sing a song or 2 so that the dude doesn't sing the whole night XD
Not trying to be mean or anything but come on, there are people who get tired of seeing the same person singing. So, I agreed & picked the most famous song ever. My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion from the movie Titanic. Good thing I like the song or not I might have made a total fool of myself infront of everyone XD After that, I sang My Love by Westlife. But I forgot that the song was too low for me so I sucked XP
There's these 2 other cousins of mine named Nina & Nana. Nina's older. The 2 of them are such darlings! Nina kept staying by my side wherever I went XD Nana, well, she's an awesome tomboy for a 4 or 5-year-old =D Very ganas! Boys, watch out! A little girl's out to get you if you kacau her!
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!
Well, I gave Nina RM10 because she's been wanting duit since she sat on me. She didn't ask any from me though. I just decided to give her. Thought it might make her happy & make her shut up XD
Lol. Had an awesome night. The elders kept complimenting on my 'singing expertise'. I'm not trying to sound prasan. They really did until the next morning!
Gawd XD That's the elderly for you. I had to go back the next morning sadly. Dah la I didn't get to shop at BP Mall with my own money because I was dumb enough to not bring my wallet -_______- Owh well. I'm sure I'll go there again someday. Met with Saiful, Safuan & their family.
I didn't have breakfast which was why I terus order McD once I got home. Haha! Alot of things have been planned after SPM. Both with my friends & relatives. Awesome Raya this year. I really enjoyed it :)
