DAVID ARCHULETA
HIMSELF performed there!! *squeals like a totally mad person while jumping up & down like a drunk kangaroo or something* I STILL couldn't believe the fact that I was there!! I can't friggin' believe I was there & saw him with my own eyes!! *hyperventilates, faints & somehow awoke*
Ok... it started off when I knew he was coming but that was MONTHS ago when I saw Rachel's Facebook status. I was like,"OMFG!! I MUST go!! *looks at Okasan with pleading eyes* Can I please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please go to the concert if he's making one?!!"
*purposely takes a dramatic long pause* "Yeah, sure..." "YAY!! *squeals like a mad person repeatedly until people around looked & stared*" I'm pretty sure their thoughts were,"Whoa... someone call 999. She might be from the Mental Hospital & was mistaken for a noob"
LOL! XD Well, after that it was 8th of April which was a Wednesday... I was bummed because on Monday (I think or was it Tuesday) I was sick & stayed at home the whole day. Had the chance to listen to hitz.fm from 11am - 8pm (yes, I am THAT obsessed) . As soon as I heard the cue to sms to win the tickets to see DAVID ARCHULETA.
I smsed like 78 times & my credit was out *snap* just like that. Guess who won the tickets? Obviously... NOT ME. I was like,"WTH?!! I wasted my friggin RM50 of credit for nothing?!! *kaboom*". I mean... c'mon. It's DAVID ARCHULETA, people!
To those who don't like the cusome-ness of DAVID ARCHULETA and/or likes/loves David Cook instead, BUZZ OFF!! NO bad-mouthing about DAVID ARCHULETA in my blog whether it's a comment or you post it at my cBox! If you say it & I'm not there, then it's fine. No offense to those who prefers David Cook, I think of you people as aliens. NO OFFENSE... also that I think David Cook is like the next Chris Daughtry or something even though Daughtry isn't old.
Was bummed knowing I didn't have the tickets & was emo-ing the whole day. Then the next day (a Thursday) , I was having BM tuition & it was gonna end like within 45 mins. Lily-chii then smsed me that she got the tix & one of them is mine!! Of course, I was SUPER DUPERLY excited but calmed down before I had the chance to squeal because my BM teacher was there.
Lily-chii said that not fully sure yet so I had my fingers crossed. X) A few minutes later, I got a call from Lily-chii & she said it's confirmed!! "WE'RE GOING TO SEE DAVID ARCHULETA THIS SATURDAY!!". I swear I only squealed a little because my BM tuition wasn't over yet but apparently me & Lils talked for SO long, that my BM tuition was over.
So I lead him to the door, closed it, went up to my room, closed the door & screamed really really loud while shouting,"OMGOMGOMG!! I'M ACTUALLY GONNA SEE DAVID ARCHULETA!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!" . I was SO loud that a neighbour of mine said,"Whoa..." But I didn't know which neighbour so I was wondering who said it. Yes, people. I shouted & screamed so loud that the neighbours heard me.
Worth every breath of mine... I wanted to go out to Rock Corner & was on the way just in case because I'll never know what'll happen to the tickets the girl Lily-chii was talking about (and I soon found out her name is Yen Li) was having. Suddenly Lils called up saying that she thought had to meet up with Yen Li tomorrow but padahal it was on THAT day!!
Luckily, the place where we should meet was nearby AKA infront of True Fitness at Taipan. The girl was really pretty... so after having the tix, went to Lily's house to give one to her & one to G-Gowri the next day. Of course when I reached there & gave her her ticket, we squealed like total jakuns until the people at the playground menyibuk said,"Woi!". Everytime we tried to calm down, we'd just squeal all over again knowing that it's friggin unbelievable we were having the tickets! But soon enough we did clam down & told ourselves that even though it's 2 days away, we've got to keep it cool to save our energy JUST for that day. ;D
Next day, gave G-Gowri her ticket in school; squealed like jakuns for a split moment; was hyperventilating during tuition as my craze was SO on that I set my phone theme to a DAVID ARCHULETA theme, renamed my one of my phone's profile to DAVID ARCHULETA songs, changed my alarm clock tone to DAVID ARCHULETA & my calendar tone to DAVID ARCHULETA. I even bought a plain white shirt a paint brush, a few paint markers, black & red fabric paint from MyDin with my pocket money & just to paint,"I <3>DAVID" on the plain white shirt. Yes, I was that dedicated/crazy or whatever you guys are saying while you're reading this.
I slept that night & woke up the next day with the same smile on my face... got ready, made sure I had everything & left. Oh yeah...! The night before I got Esther, Deborah & Sherilyn tickets to the showcase as I heard they wanted to go (but I found out from Gowri that Cherry was a David Cook fan) . It's ok, Cherry. No need for apologies for going to MidValley with Deborah & her dahlink, Aizzat. ;D
We all went together & after Gowri's mom dropped us off (TYSM, auntie for sending us there!! really appreciated it!) , we had to walk down to line up. We thought we were pretty early (we sampai there at either nearly 10 or 10 something in the morning people & the showcase was suppose to start at 3!!) but once we saw the line, there were already people & so far I knew that the earliesr people arrived there was at 8.30!!
It's amazing what fans can do just to get a good glimpse of the cusome-ness of DAVID ARCHULETA... again I forgot. A few days before the concert I helped G-Gowri buy a HUGE cardboard? for the showcase. My black marker was out when she wanted to use it =.= but good thing I brought my fabric paint along.
Anyways, while waiting, me, Cherry & Deb felt hungry (since we hadn't had our breakfast) so Deb called her dahlink to pick us up & send us ti Sunway Pyramid to grab some food. He tagged along... as we walked, me & Cherry noticed that Deb & Aizzat needed their space so we gave it & head to McDonald's to eat. I forgot what Cherry ate but I ate the Hotcakes w/o sausages. Deb & Aizzat found us at McD & suddenly Lils called. She said they were about to go in so Debs & her dahlink did their best to eat fast (since me & Cherry finished our food already) .Before we left, Debbie decided not to go & fully confirmed on the way. Cherry was still thinking about it & once we reached there, she decided not to go so I was alone.
Met up with the rest along with Dharshini at the line but they said I couldn't be with them because I went out of the line but thanks to Yasmin (forgot to mention she was going including Lily's sis) she asked me to just go in the line & I did. Luckily, the security guards forgot all about me even though it was like for a few minutes. Once the line started moving, everyone was woo-ing. It was like security check on the airport because they checked our bags before they tore the edge of the ticket as they said we couldn't bring outside food.
Most of us started running (though I was left behind to put in my stuffz & the penjaga2 there saw me saying that if we run they'd pull us out or something) . I ran once I passed them & wished had more water. Apparently, they were selling water & I was like,"WHAT?!! They could've mentioned that before I bought a friggin bottle of water for nothing & had to drink it before going in!!".
Got these 2 yellow DiGi thingies that after you blew into it & hit it against one another, it makes a sound. We played with it too much until it deflated =______= Well, I think it was 11 or 12 something when we got our seats so we had to wait for so many hours just for DAVID ARCHULETA. Lily said her sis needed water because it was SO hot that she felt she was gonna faint or something. Gave the money to Yasmin & Esther while I tagged along since I was thirsty too, got to the line, asked for a bottle of water while Yasmin mentioned Lily's sis felt unwell until that unknown woman gave it for free (how kind of you!!) !
Got back to our seats, the djs were playing songs to keep us entertained & they played with the lights just to fool us (it ain't funny, bastards!!) . Our wait was over once JJ & Ean arrived but these 3 unknown people (to me because I really didn't have a single idea who they were) performed first. I can't remember the 1st guy but his dance moves were awesome, the 2nd guy was Aliff or something who's a winner of One In A Million (never heard of the show) & Daniel Lee? from Malaysian Idol.
For the OIAM dude after he performed & mintak the crowd to help him, most of them said no & I was one of them. Gowri, I didn't really care about these dudes because I was there ONLY for DAVID ARCHULETA & noone else. No offense. So don't ask me to give them a chance because again I'll say, I didn't really care. While the crowd listened (most of them I guess) , I didn't pay much attention. I kept looking around & at my nails while waiting for DAVID ARCHULETA to come out.
He finally did!! *squeals* XXDDDD After HOURS of waiting, cam-whoring, singing, bla bla bla he finally came out!! He started off with "A Little Too Not Over You", "Touch My Hand", "Don't Ket Go" & his famous hit single "Crush"!! He sounds Owh-So-Better-With-The-Cuter-And-Hotter when he sings live!!!!!! Like seriously! To those who went, they'd agree with me 100%!! It was frigginawesomeamazing to have seen him with our very own eyes as he was infront of us on that awesome stage!! Me, Gowri, Esther & Yasmin all shouted,"WE LOVE YOU, DAVID!!" for God knows how many times until people infront of us kept looking behind with that "WTH?!!" look! XD
He was suppose to leave after singing all four songs but as he did, we wanted more & everyone started chanting his name! As he did, he played on the keyboard while singing the songs "A Thousand Miles" & "Angels"...!! He plays the keyboard (from skills of playing the piano I'll bet!) SO well!! I lost my camera months ago so rugi la for not being able to take clear pix & vids of him performing. =,( He ended it by saying,"Terima Kasih,Malaysia" & finally left for real.
Everyone STILL chanted his name because tak puas mah though kesian him la because before singing his 3rd song he drank a bottle of water & was sweating like hell. Oh yeah... in the song "Angels" got this line that says,"I'm lovin' angles instead", right? Well, AGAIN me, Gowri, Esther & Yasmin shouted "WE'RE LOVIN' DAVID INSTEAD!!". Lol... I shouted SO loud & many friggin times that I thought I was gonna faint on the spot!
Anyways, Lily made a present for DAVID ARCHULETA with the help of Gowri, Esther & Yasmin (I can't believe I didn't =_________=) so we wanted to give it on our way to the exit. Amazingly, LOADS of people were giving pressies! Hopefully DAVID ARCHULETA gets them in hand! XD It was friggin' raining & the poster of DAVID ARCHULETA was getting wet! I asked Esther to protect it if she could but it got a little wet anyways. CURSES!!
Once I got home, I received an sms from Mimi (Elicia duh!) that if we stayed longer, we could've seen DAVID ARCHULETA!! Why? BECAUSE he came out & went to the crowd!! I was like,"What the...?! NO WAY!!". Someone could've warned us he was gonna do that!! Owh well. It's too late now so no use for complaining. *sighs* Sad really.
Well, my DAVID ARCHULETA Craze was STILL going on the next day & I slept at 5 a.m. (yes, people... I'm crazy but so what?!!) finding cusome pix of him including videos when he was in Malaysia. Was also checking out all those DAVID ARCHULETA fan blogs etc. etc. It was DEFINITELY worth my time so... here they are! Embrace his cusome-ness!! XD
