You know what? I continued reading The Time Traveler's Wife after eating dinner & watching bits of Jurassic Park III. I read page 236 around 11:30 or so. It's 11:44 p.m. now.
At the 7th paragraph; 2nd sentence, I instantly laughed. Why? Because Henry said "We fuck carefully, silently."
Weird, right? That's why I was laughing. I'm wondering to myself "What's so funny about that?" There's nothing funny about it & yet, I laughed. Or giggled at least. It's sweet in a way.
I dunno. Whatever. The awkward thing is, we used to think of this as a very icky or disgusting act when we were younger. Like, below 12.
Kissing especially. It would make me giggle but mainly because it's gross or something. I'm not exactly sure on how to explain it.. unless you get what I mean. So yeah. That's all I've got.
